Broad Marsh masterplan with homes and offices unveiled

The masterplan for how the Broad Marsh area could look once work is completed on its £4 billion regeneration has been unveiled by Nottingham City Council.

The area, between the railway station and the city centre, has been the subject of speculation for years after the old Broadmarsh shopping centre was torn down in 2020.

As part of the work, 1,000 new homes and office, commercial and leisure space are set to be built while 2,500 jobs will be created.

The extent of the work is revealed in a brand-new CGI flyover video showing what the area will look like from above.

Instead, a fresh planning application for the development of the Eagle Market entrance and adjacent area currently occupied by the Castle and Falcon pub was submitted to Derby City Council in March.
