Obituaries 🕯️ Bernard Hill died early on Sunday morning, his agent Lou Coulson confirmed. No cause has been given. He played Captain Edward Smith in the 1997 Oscar-winning film Titanic, and King Théoden in the Lord of the Rings. He was 79. 🕯️ Edgar Lansbury, a Tony Award-winning producer and younger brother of actress Angela Lansbury, died Thursday at age 94 at his home in Manhattan, according to his son. 🕯️ Barbara O. Jones, an actress in the independent Black cinema of 1970s Los Angeles in films like Bush Mama and Daughters of the Dust, died on April 8 at her home in Dayton, Ohio.
