Another year draws to a close, one in which we may have (almost) seen the back of the Covid-19 pandemic, a UK Prime Minister managed to stay in office for more than five minutes and audiences were dazzled by an array of TV shows and performances including a once-in-a-generation week that saw a royal coronation and Eurovision. This was part of the reason the BBC comfortably overcame ITV in the ratings rankings this year, returning eight of the top 10 shows. He was 48. 🕯️ British director and actor David Leland has died aged 82. The theater, film and TV star passed away on Christmas Eve, surrounded by his family. 🕯️ Adam Petlin, director of operations in Fox News‘ Chicago bureau, died on Dec. 23 after a long illness. Petlin had a 27-year career at the network, starting in August 1996 as one of the first six field photographers hired. 🕯️ Henry Sandon, longtime Antiques Roadshow expert on porcelain and pottery died Monday at a care home in Malvern, Worcestershire.
