The 75th annual Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were revealed this morning. HBO dominated the drama list, with nods going to Succession, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us and The White Lotus, as had been expected. Succession, the HBO drama headlined by Brian Cox, earned an expected Best Drama nomination, plus multiple nods in the actor/actress categories. It will go up against fellow HBO hits including House of the Dragon, The Last of Us and The White Lotus, in addition to Andor, The Crown and Yellowjackets. On the comedy side, the lineup puts last year's winner in the top category, Ted Lasso, back in the running along with prior nominees Barry, Only Murders in the Building, Abbott Elementary and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Academy voters left room for three new players in Wednesday, The Bear and Jury Duty. This year’s Emmy Awards ceremony is scheduled to be held September 18 live on Fox, but the ongoing writers strike and a potential SAG-AFTRA strike could change that. >>>Complete Nominations List MORE: Snubs & Surprises: Helen Mirren, ‘Harry & Meghan,’ Harrison Ford & ‘Yellowstone’ Cold-Shouldered; ‘Jury Duty’ Verdict Is A Thumbs Up HBO's 4 Outstanding Drama Nominations Are Its Most In One Year Since 1992 'The Problem With Jon Stewart' Officially Enters Late-Night Emmy Race Paris Barclay Makes History With 'Dahmer' Directing Nomination 📺 Deadline's Full Emmy Nominations Coverage |
