DMU architecture students win Pam Allardice memorial prizes

Story 1

Two De Montfort University architecture students have won ProCon Leicestershire's second year of prizes from the Pam Allardice Bursary.


The fund was established in 2021 to celebrate the contribution of the property and construction network's co-founder and chair of 20 years Pam Allardice, who died in 2020.

Grena surgical clip wins prestigious Red Dot Design Award

Nottingham medical device specialist Grena has been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for its Click'aV Plus surgical clip.


The surgical clip has micro-teeth which guarantee stability during surgery even under high blood pressure.


The awards are among the more prestigious prizes in the field of industrial design.
