Zaslav's Strategy Shift: Licensing Out WB's IP Treasure ►"Open for business." Warner Bros. Discovery's decision to license out Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies to an Amazon Prime Video keen on promoting its own LOTR prequel series was a clear sign the company was shifting away from locking up its prestige titles for HBO Max.
