Radhe Shyam Star Prabhas Gets Candid About Indian Films, Lauds Allu Arjun's Pushpa ( Photo Credit – Facebook ; Pushpa Poster )
With less than 15 days left to the release of Radhe Shyam, the buzz around the Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer is at an all-time high. Earlier today, the makers of the film hosted a grand trailer launch event and unveiled a 1 minute 10 second long trailer.
At this trailer launch event, the Baahubali star interacted with the media and got candid about several things. From who in Bollywood is his inspiration to his thoughts on Allu Arjun's Pushpa working wonders in the Hindi belt and Indian cinema growing as one, read onto know all he had to say.
As reported by Pinkvilla, at the trailer launch of Radhe Shyam held earlier today, Prabhas emphasized on the importance of Indian films. Talking about them working will from the Baahubali franchise to Allu Arjun's Pushpa, the South sensation said, "Maybe it started with Rajamouli or Baahubali, but we must make Indian films. The time has come and Baahubali, KGF did and now Pushpa, we are getting closer to making Indian films, more and more. In the future, we might release, 50 Indian films. that's a very good sign. We will be the world's biggest industry once it happens."
Talking about who in Bollywood has been his inspiration, Prabhas named Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. He even added, "Amitabh sir is a legend, everybody loves him so yeah." During the chat he further got candid about Amitabh Bachchan doing the voice over for Radhe Shyam. He said, "Everybody loves his voice. I spoke to him and I sent him a letter and then he sweetly gave the voice. i am very grateful." He also added that the film starts with his dialogue and ends with it.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, Radhe Shyam stars Prabhas and Pooja Hegde alongside Bhagyashree, Jagapathi Babu, Sathyaraj and many more. The film is produced by UV Creations and T-Series under the banner of Gopi Krishna Movies. As of now, the film is finally scheduled to release on 11 March 2022.
