Everyone is aware that Lata Mangeshkar belonged to the family of artists. His father ran a theater company. When the two sisters (Lata and Asha Bhosle) started singing, their aim was to carry forward their father's legacy. However, with this, it was not known when both of them started ruling in Hindi cinema. Alam was that the voices of these two started settling in the souls of the people. Even Lata Mangeshkar herself admitted that the music industry is incomplete without her and Asha Bhosle.
In an interview, Lata Mangeshkar had said, without me and Asha, music could not have happened. Music directors wanted us to sing. Along with this, Lata Mangeshkar also revealed that the beautiful actress of the old era, Madhubala used to write in her contract that Lata Mangeshkar should give her voice to the songs of her films.
Let us tell you that Lata Mangeshkar has sung almost most of the songs of Madhubhala's famous film Mughal-e-Azam in the year 1960. These include 'Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya', 'More Panghat Pe', 'Teri Mehfil Mein' and 'Love ki Jhooli Kahani'.
