Baahubali and Saaho fame Prabhas, who is termed as Telugu's 'Rebel Star' is on a high as he has a couple of big-budget movies in his kitty. His collaboration with south India's most happening filmmaker Prashanth Neel for their upcoming big budget drama Salaar is keenly anticipated. In this film he will be seen sharing the screen space with Shruti Hassan. Now according to the latest report, this time Prabhas picked the actor Sai Chand as his baddie in Salaar.
The talented artiste Sai Chand was seen playing the important role in Sekhar Kammula' magnum opus Love Story starring Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi. He also played the role of good friend Megastar Chiranjeevi in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
He appeared in Buchi Babu Sana' directorial venture Uppena as lead actor Vaishnav Tej's father and was also seen in Krish's Kondapolam too. Now Sai Chand will be seen playing a villain in Prashanth Neel' directorial venture Salaar.
Earlier during an interview, Prashanth Neel revealed the meaning of Salaar by saying, "There are many interpretations of the term Salaar. It is a more colloquial word, so the meaning I will derive from it is commander in chief. The right hand man to a king, the general, is what I would say."
