Giving information in this regard, the Health Minister said that the Central Government has also sent a letter to the State Governments that in view of the situation of Corona, they can relax the Corona restrictions accordingly. The effect of rapid completion of vaccination in the state will be visible in the form of laxity in restrictions. This is the reason that the rules and restrictions will be further relaxed in the month of March.
Hotel-restaurants, theatres, wedding programs are waiting for 100% unlock
Rajesh Tope said that the Chief Minister also wants that economic behavior and all other services in the state should be started as before the COVID period. Now no restriction will remain in the state for a long time. In such a situation, the restrictions and conditions imposed in restaurants-hotels, wedding ceremonies, theater-cinema halls will be lifted. And all these can be started with their 100 percent capacity as before the Corona period.
The unlock was to happen in February itself but the new variant cautioned
Actually, 100% unlocking in Maharashtra would have been done in February itself, but according to experts of Corona Task Force, new variants of Corona came and raised concerns. Therefore, while taking precautions, a need was felt to have a little more patience. With the advent of a new variant like the Deltakrone in the UK, the need for caution and patience has arisen. The Omicron variant spread very rapidly in the third wave of Corona. But as it was not very lethal, it was successful in getting control immediately.
