The organic farmers of the country should get the earth friend honor
Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival 2022 (Dadashaheb Falke International Film Festival 2022) organic farming in the country during (Organic Farming) With the objective of promoting Organic India Pvt Ltd (Organic India Private LimitedDharti Mitra Dharti (Mitra Award) was awarded the prize. This honor is given to farmers for their contribution towards strengthening the eco-system of organic farming in the country. Celebrating the grandeur of Indian cinema and the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi (Azadi Ka Amrit MahotsavFive top organic farmers were honored with the Dharti Mitra Award.
It is worth mentioning that in the year 2017 to honor the efforts of organic farmers of the country to grow crops without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, as well as to create a self-sustaining farming model with new experiments by balancing the ecosystem of agriculture. India had instituted the Dharti Mitra Award. Dharti Mitra Award provides a better platform to the organic farmers across the country to carry out new experiments in the agriculture sector and to take their learnings to other farmers of the country.
Gujarat farmer got first prize
Bharat Bhushan Tyagi, winner of the Dharti Mitra Award in 2017, was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award in 2019. According to ANI, during the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival 2022, film actress Lara Dutta and Colonel Tushar Joshi gave the Dharti Mitra 2021 award to Nathani Uprendbhai Dayabhai, an organic farmer from Gujarat. He won the first prize. He was given five lakh rupees as an award. The second Dharti Mitra award went to Karnataka farmer Malleshappa Gulappa Bisrotti. He was given three lakh rupees as an award.
The work of the farmers of the country is commendable
The third, fourth and fifth prizes of Dharti Mitra 2021 were given to Devarddi Agsanakoppa of Karnataka, Rawal Chand of Rajasthan and Urmil ur Ruby Pareek. All three were given one lakh rupees each as a reward. Addressing the program, Subrata Dutta, Group Managing Director, Organic India, appreciated and expressed gratitude for the efforts being made by the farmers of the country for organic farming. He said that the farmers of our country play a very important role for the ecology, economy and society at large.
Purpose of Dharti Mitra Award
Explaining the objectives of Dharti Mitra Award, he said that through this his relations with all farmers will be strengthened. The award is meant to celebrate the better relationship with the farmers, who are connected to each other. Through this, efforts are made to increase their confidence doing better work in the field of organic farming. The purpose of the Dharti Mitra Award is to bring to the world the new experiments being done by the farmers doing organic farming.
