Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan' supporters and the movie lovers are upset with the state government. It is known that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has laid special interest in cinema halls/ theaters to create obstacles for Pawan Kalyan starrer action drama Bheemla Nayak. Ahead of the film release, the officials issued warnings to the theatre owners to abide by the regulations on the ticket prices.
Police and Revenue officials have been deployed at many theaters in different parts of the state and they are performing the duties at theatres to make sure the cinema halls are functioning according to the govt's regulations. As a result of it , 50-60 theaters have shut down today in Andhra Pradesh.
Due to Rs 10, 15, 20 ticket prices on the day of Bheemla Nayak's release, it is impossible for the theatre owners and distributors to recoup their investment that is the main reason, the theaters owners decided to shut down the theaters.
It is known that Chiranjeevi and other Telugu actors met chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and requested for increase in ticket rate. Though an expert committee has submitted the report the state govt is yet to pass the order.
