Veteran composer and singer, who was called the disco king of Bollywood, passed away on Tuesday night. Bappi Lahiri had been ill for a long time and was admitted to the hospital for a month. Bappi Lahiri was discharged on Monday after being hospitalized for a month. But on Tuesday, his health once again worsened. After this he was taken to the hospital after which he died on Tuesday night. Bappi Lahiri's real name was Alokesh Lahiri. He was born in a Brahmin family in Bengal. Bappi Lahiri was called the 'Disco King' because it was he who popularized synthesized disco music in Indian cinema.
