COVID 19 Cases in Karnataka: In view of the decreasing corona cases in Karnataka, it was decided to relax many restrictions on Friday. In the last 24 hours, 14,950 new cases of Kovid 19 infection were reported in the state and 53 more patients died due to the epidemic. In the same time, 40599 people have recovered from the infection. At present there are 1,23,098 active patients of Kovid-19. On Thursday, 16436 cases were confirmed in the state.

After the Karnataka government decided to further relax the anti-Covid restrictions, theatres, gyms, yoga centers and swimming pools will now be able to operate at full capacity in the state. The decision was taken in a meeting of the Health Minister, senior officials and representatives of the Technical Advisory Committee, chaired by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Health Minister K. Sudhakar said that this decision has been taken after considering the current situation related to Kovid and the reduction of hospitalization rate to two percent.
Sudhakar said, "The theaters and the film industry have suffered due to COVID-19, so to create a conducive environment for them to continue their activities and for the benefit of the people, it has been decided that theaters will be closed tomorrow. Can operate with 100 percent capacity. Similarly, gyms, yoga centers and swimming pools can also operate at full capacity.
He said that some precautionary measures will be issued in the form of guidelines, which will be required to be followed. The minister said that those going to the cinema halls will have to compulsorily wear masks and food items will not be allowed inside the cinema halls.
