ANALYSIS OF THE OTHER CHARACTERS WHO INTERACT WITH YOU (briefly)Once you have done the above analysis you will be clear of the entire plot and where and how your character fits into the big picture of the film
YOUR "CHARACTER" ANALYSIS
Character's objective- For example what the character wants to achieve?
- Actions required to achieve the objective However, keep in mind the writer's intentions. Don't change them
- Period: day, night, time, weather, place and sound
- Setting: To engage yourself physically and mentally (whether you have to run, climb. dance, kill, drive etc)
- Re write your lines highlighting length, rhythm, punctuation are they interrupted or have a free flow and whether lines project calmness or excitement?
- What is blocking (means how you have to walk, where you have to stop while delivering your lines)
Remember, each character in a script/film has a story of his/her life

- Physical attributes: tall. short, fat, slim, bent, young, old, any disability, face,
- Nature
- Occupation
- Family
- Childhood
- Fears and worries
- Dreams and ambitions
LOOK THE WORLD AROUND YOU AND SEEK EXAMPLES TO PORTRAY YOUR CHARACTER IN THE SCRIPT OR PICK UP FEW THINGS FROM OTHERS
ADJUST PHYSICAL LEVELS:The energy levels required, posture, quality, and tempo, quality and volume of your voice. Take the examples of great actors playing different roles
CHARACTER FUNCTION:
Whether he/she is a Protagonist, Antagonist, Best Friend, Love Interest, Confidante, Partner, Catalyst, Mentor, A comic relief etc etcEMOTIONS
Required to communicate effectively with the audience with the ability to move audience

ASK AND ASK DIRECTOR OR WRITER TO SEEK ANSWERS/GUIDANCE ON ABOVE. DON'T MAKE A MISTAKE OF NOT ASKING.
